Are you wishing it could stay 2015 forever, as you worry what 2016 may bring? Or are you only too happy to see 2015 go, looking forward to the new year? Once upon a time, we observed that Father Time carries a scythe, so perhaps we might know where Eyewirers’ sympathies lie, but on the other hand… well, babies can be pretty cute.

So: which team will you pick as we roll in to 2016?

This time around we’ll kick things off 12/31 at 5:00 AM EST, when it’s already the New Year by the International Date Line! The competition will then run for 24 hours. (Happy Hour 180 will be skipped this week as a result.)

The usual bonuses
Earn 5,000 points – 2,500 bonus
Earn 15,000 points – 5,000 bonus
Earn 25,000 points – 10,000 bonus
For every 25,000 points above 25,000 – 5,000 bonus
Member of winning team (if you’ve scored at least 2,500 points) – 10,000 bonus
Highest scorer on each team – 5,000 bonus
Player with #1 overall score – 10,000 bonus
Player with #2 overall score – 5,000 bonus
Player with #3 overall score – 2,500 bonus
