Grim’s Trick or Treat: Team M vs. Team Devon

You can get candy at both of these next houses, but as a sign at each door informs you, you’ll get a lot more candy from whichever one you can crown as the reigning champion of Halloween lawn ornaments! Gamemasters M (@sorek.m) and Devon (@devonjones) have a longstanding decorative rivalry that even their cats have joined. Check out your options:

Team M

The star of M’s lawn display is the ghostly white cat known fittingly as Casper! Though a friendly fellow, Casper has a demanding way, staring for hours until he gets food or belly rubs. In keeping with the cat, the rest of what you see on M’s lawn is along the same lines: cute little ghosts, fat and happy jack o’lanterns, the silly side of Halloween. You might want to side with this team if your Halloween costume is more fun than frightening.

Team Devon

The star of Devon’s lawn display is Bambo, Casper’s visual opposite: fluffy and black, a truly classic Halloween cat. He loves humans, too, but he’s got lots of mischief on his mind, and he never got the memo that he’s not really a big fierce lion. The decorations at this house follow suit: Gothic splendor, ghoulish sculptures, fog machines, with spooky music on the sound system. Join this team if you’ve ever been asked whether there are any actual colors in your wardrobe.
