Eyewire Release Report 10/7/2016

As detailed here, every few Fridays we’re sharing which bug fixes and tiny features our developers have released into the wild. Apart from bigger changes that have received their own posts, here are the releases on Eyewire since the last report.

  • The “change cell” menu now only displays Fort Scythe cells in the Fort Scythe category up top if there are cubes available. Otherwise, Scouts and Scythes can find zero-availability or completed Fort Scythe cells only in the Scouts & Scythes Needed or Recently Completed categories. No more duplicated cell names!
  • The Scythe Vision heatmap for Fort Scythe previously had no Scythe orange at all, and you could not immediately tell new cubes from reapgrown cubes. Now orange is back, and to help you do Scythe Completing over an entirely orange cell, when you’re in a fort the purple completion color overwrites orange reap color. (GrimReaper red will continue to overwrite everything in forts, except for the usual frozen, duplicate, or split colors.)
  • While possibly noticed by admins more than by players, GrimReaper red had gotten buggy and often required a refresh to display on a reaped cube. This should now be fixed.

Next report will be in a couple weeks, though in the meantime you may see new feature posts anyway. For science!
