New Cell Complete Notification Showcases Your Contributions to Neuroscience
The first personalized neuroscience notification is finally live in Eyewire thanks to our fabulous Computer Science Intern Spencer Franklin!
The new Cell Complete Notification will arrive in your feed when a cell that you’ve contributed to has been finished. Here’s a walk through all that’s included.
Check out your own contributions by points, cubes, and trailblazes (first player to map a cube). Scouts and Scythes will see reaps and Scythes will get a tally for completed cubes. If you’re ever wondering what these terms mean, you can hover over the icons in the notification for a quick description.
Next you’ll see your per-cell accuracy. Hover over it to see your over to under coloring ratio. Scythes have access to Reap and Complete Accuracy. The next round of this notification will let you see a list of your cubes sorted by accuracy, including Reaps and Completes.
All player stats shows global contributions to the cell.
The leaderboard top right shows your place among the Eyewire stars who played the same cell, as well as elapsed time (currently a little broken – we’re working on it!).
You can easily jump to the completed cell using the top Jump button.
What’s next
We’ll soon be deploying a tabbed version of this notif with more detailed cube history.
Coming next week: retro trailblaze points notification!
Thanks for playing Eyewire. These features are built for you and as always, we’d love to hear your feedback and ideas for how we could improve them! Drop us a note to support@eyewire.org any time. For science!
