Eyewire Release Report: 9/15/2017

As detailed here, every few Fridays we’re sharing which bug fixes and tiny features our developers have released into the wild. Apart from bigger changes that have received their own posts, here are the releases on Eyewire since the last report.

  • We’ve fixed a bug where some users were getting double points on a cube by inspecting it in review mode and clicking “move on.”
  • We’ve fixed a bug with competition autoaward where the award announcement was failing to appear in chat; now you should always be able to see in chat that bonuses successfully awarded.

Regarding the recent color change for the Scythe Vision heatmap, we have not yet released a revision to address a few player concerns, but based on discussion in the forum we have something in progress. Feel free to check the forum for updates, and thanks for bearing with us while we iron this out!

Please note that you will have the smoothest Eyewire experience if you use the most recent 64-bit version of Firefox or Chrome, a recent operating system like macOS Sierra/Windows 10/Ubuntu 16, and a machine with at least 8 GB of RAM.

Next report will be in a couple weeks, though in the meantime you may see new feature posts anyway. For science!
