Happy Friday! To give you a comprehensive picture of everything new on Eyewire, here are all changes since the last report a few weeks ago.

  • In Live Overview, Scythes who reap while completing will now have their floating icons update to the Scythe shape only once they’ve actually reaped the cube, not just because they entered Inspect Mode. This should allow the Complete icon shape to persist more often on branches.
  • For Scouts, the new entry log popup for flagging no longer includes the “Good” status. The Scouts & Scythes Manual will be updated accordingly.
  • Chat colors have been updated per player request to better differentiate the colors for various roles. You can read more about the change here.
  • For Scouts & Scythes, the dropdown menu for overview heatmaps had originally listed available heatmaps in a different order from the hotkey system. Now both things match up: 1 – Scythe Vision; 2 – Low Weight; 3 – Created; 4 – Confidence.

Please note that you will have the smoothest Eyewire experience if you use the most recent 64-bit version of Firefox or Chrome, a recent operating system like macOS Mojave/Windows 10/Ubuntu 16, and a machine with at least 8 GB of RAM.

We’ll catch you again soon. For science!
