Cock-a-doodle-doo and chicka-dee-dee, the Battle of the Birds is over! But this ornithological extravaganza should serve as a fitting feather to add to your cap as an accomplished Eyewirer.

Also: if you love birds and want to help protect them for future generations, did you know there’s a way you can do so as a citizen scientist? Check out the Great Backyard Bird Count, organized by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, the Audubon Society, and Birds Canada. Although these groups are North American, many events are arranged for participants anywhere on Earth!

Meanwhile, here is the summary of competition awards; you can also view the full results here. For science!
