MasterMind: Thoughts on the Future of Brain Computer Interfaces

This short video from Francesco Paciocco dives into a fascinating realm of hands-on science – or should we say heads-on science. BCI, Brain Computer Interfaces, are taking the world by storm. Products like Emotiv, Muse, and even open-source OpenBCI allow anyone to record their brainwaves using tiny electric field detectors called EEG (electroencephalogram).

The video features clips from Sebastian Seung’s TEDTalk as well as EyeWire animations, diving into several possible future scenarios for hacking the human brain.

We hope you find it thought provoking and look forward to discussing in EyeWire chat.
