Join us for a 50th Anniversary Moon Landing Happy Hour!

Fifty years ago, on July 20th, 1969, one of the most incredible achievements in science, engineering, and sheer human ingenuity took place: two homo sapiens left the confines of a fragile landing module and set foot for the first time in history on an extraterrestrial surface. The collective spirit and teamwork required to accomplish that precious moment still informs the ideals of countless scientific projects in the 21st century, including Eyewire.

In commemoration, we would love it if you joined our celebratory Happy Hour tomorrow at eyewire.org. Normal HH bonuses will apply, but the time window will last from 4:17 PM to 11:15 PM (EDT). These times respectively symbolize the instant that the Eagle (the lunar module) touched down, then the instant that astronaut Buzz Aldrin joined Neil Armstrong on the Moon’s surface. Stop by as long as you can, and let the points rain!

FOR SCIENCE!!!
