So, tell the world a little about yourself.
Hi all! My name is Ariel, and I currently reside in Savannah, Georgia. I’m in college at the moment, studying general biology. I hope to transfer to a university and earn a bachelor’s in Neuroscience!
Why do you play EyeWire?
I play EyeWire because it is very therapeutic to me. I love being able to fill in the missing pieces, all in the name of science. Additionally, I have made many new friends within a community, as they are so very kind and fun to play with!
How did you discover EyeWire?
I discovered EyeWire through a post from the popular Facebook science page IFLS.
Share a short story that helps the world get to know you.
I love science, and having the opportunity to contribute to neuroscience in a unique, challenging, and extremely satisfying way has helped me rekindle my passion. I hope to use what I have learned as an avid EyeWire player in my future scientific endeavors.
Anything else you’d like to share?
I have had the amazing opportunity to meet Amy and work with her this spring at the National Science and Engineering Festival, held in downtown Washington, DC. It was an amazing experience, and has helped open the doors a possible future with HQ!
