Brace yourselves for the November marathon!
**UPDATE the November Marathon was completed in just under the limit – 23 hours and 56 minutes! Whew! Congrats to all who participated, that was quite a cell.

It’s following hot on the heels of the October marathon, but to avoid conflicting with Thanksgiving in the US, we’ve got the November marathon coming your way already! Let’s see if we can complete another one of our tricky little Lab Cells in 24 hours, shall we? We’ll be running this marathon from Wednesday, 11/18 @ 10:00 AM EDT to Thursday, 11/19 @ 10:00 AM EDT.
Swag & Bonuses
T-shirts will be won by:
- The player who completes the most cubes
- The top player who completes at least 50 cubes and has the highest accuracy
Anyone who completes more than 20 cubes with at least 80% accuracy will be entered into a raffle for:
- 2 additional t-shirts
- 4 mugs
- 2 posters
- 1 copy of Connectome by Sebastian Seung
Points bonuses for participating:
Complete 20 cubes – 2,000 point bonus
Complete 50 cubes – 5,000 point bonus
Complete 150 cubes – 20,000 point bonus
Complete 300 cubes – 40,000 point bonus
For every 150 cubes above 300 cubes – 2,500 point bonus
If the cell is completed within 24 hrs, mappers who:
- Complete at least 50 cubes will win rights to vote on a name for the November marathon cell.
- Complete at least 200 cubes will win rights to nominate a new name for the November marathon cell.
