Happy Birthday Kelv!

On this day, October 12, many moons ago, a baby was born who would one day go on to lead hundreds of thousands of gamers in a quest to map the brain.  Today we celebrate Eyewire developer Kelv‘s birthday!

Would you rather fight 100 duck sized horses or 1 horse sized duck?

I think probably a horse-sized duck, but I’m just looking at their mouths and I do realize that duck mouths are scary. It probably depends on the duck. I’m assuming that you’re giving me a sword. I could maybe have better success against 100 duck sized horses but I’d be too traumatized killing them all.

What’s the fastest you’ve ever driven a car?

55 miles per hour (rev limited in 2nd gear)

What’s your favorite thing about autocross racing? 

The satisfaction of feeling in control of the car.

If you were stranded on a deserted island but you could bring 3 items, what would they be?

Computer, satellite uplink, solar panel – and the reason why is because I need to keep Eyewire up.

You’ve genetically crossbred a peach and a strawberry. What do you name your creation?

I’m thinking… Prunus persica x Fragaria × ananassa. Also, I don’t use the simple strawberry, I use the garden strawberry. And a strawberry isn’t even a berry. It’s an aggregate accessory fruit, my favorite kind.

What’s your favorite tv show? 

Black Mirror, up to and including season 3

What is your favorite film?

Maybe Citizen Kane, it’s because I have a high taste for quality.

What’s the best programming language?

But actually, favorite programming language.. I’ve had a soft spot for Objective C.
