Help Us Improve Eyewire Trivia
Hey Eyewirers!
Here’s your chance to help us make trivia more educational for Eyewire! When you come across a merger, snap a screenshot of it and send it to us! Screenshots should be unmarked (no circling the merger) and the merger should be somewhat obvious/prominent from the image alone. Remember: our goal is to educate, not to trick people. If the image looks correct in the screenshot, and can only be determined to have a merger by going into the cube, it is too hard. You can include the 2D in your screenshot if it helps to more clearly identify the merger.
If you have a backlog of screen captures from past mergers you’ve submitted to us, feel free to send those in too! You could also create a temporary merger, take the screenshot, and then delete it. If you choose this option make sure to DELETE before you submit the cube! We don’t want any crazy looking cells.
If you want to take your screenshot skills to the next level, you could try a “which trace is correct?” image. This would involve you tracing out a branch in the correct way, and then tracing out an incorrect way that may include mergers, incorrect paths and/or missing branches.
These should be should be challenging enough to be fun, but not so difficult that its impossible to determine the correct path.
