Celebrate the Publication of Our Nature Paper With a Week of Trivia!
We’re kicking off another rousing round of Eyewire trivia this week! In celebration of our paper being published in Nature, this week’s trivia will test your Eyewire, science, and pop culture knowledge! Hope you’ve been studying hard! Trivia runs from Monday 5/5 until Friday 5/9 and consists of 6 one-hour blocks with a question every 2 minutes.
Trivia Schedule is as follows:
- Monday – 12 PM – 1 PM EDT
- Tuesday – 10 AM – 11AM EDT, & 10 PM – 11 PM EDT
- Thursday – 10 AM – 11AM EDT, & 10 PM – 11 PM EDT
- Friday – 12 PM – 1 PM EDT
* Each trivia block runs for 1 hour, with a new question every 2 minutes.
There will also be a new trivia question every 90 minutes, starting at 12 PM EDT on Monday, and ending at 11:30 AM EDT on Friday.
Points Breakdown:
- 1st to answer correctly – 300 points
- 2nd to answer correctly – 200 points
- 3rd to answer correctly – 100 points
*All trivia responses will be submitted to chat. You can submit publicly by simply typing your answer, or privately by typing /pm inquizitor before your response.
All responses should be submitted in a short answer format. The more succinct your answer, the better. Some questions follow a specific format, and you should answer accordingly.
Examples of good answers:
Q: Which are typically taller, giants or dwarves?
A: giants
Q: Are giants typically taller than dwarves, yes or no?
A: yes
Q: Giants are typically taller than dwarves: true or false.
A: true
Q: Which are typically taller A) Giants or B) Dwarves?
A: a
*inquizitor is not case sensitive so do not worry about capitalization
All trivia points will be added to your score after the trivia week has ended.
