Eyewire Release Report 9/1/2017

As detailed here, every few Fridays we’re sharing which bug fixes and tiny features our developers have released into the wild. Apart from bigger changes that have received their own posts, here are the releases on Eyewire since the last report.

  • We may have reduced the amount of 403 errors (and consequently various site failures) that players were experiencing throughout this summer. Some errors have continued to occur, but hopefully your Eyewire experience has grown a little smoother compared to the beginning of August. We will still keep working to make things better!
  • The real-time SC counter in profiles briefly broke; now it should be fixed.
  • Your accuracy on Evil Cubes no longer affects your Level 1 accuracy, making Evil Cubes now just as evil but a lot more fun.

Please note that you will have the smoothest Eyewire experience if you use the most recent 64-bit version of Firefox or Chrome, a recent operating system like macOS Sierra/Windows 10/Ubuntu 16, and a machine with at least 8 GB of RAM.

Next report will be in a couple weeks, though in the meantime you may see new feature posts anyway. For science!
