A Walk Through the EyeWire Tutorials (2 of 3)

Below is a set of Eyewire tutorial videos recorded by Rachel Prentki. These 5 vids are the second of a set of three blog posts explaining the introductory tutorials. This also serves as a handy review tool. Visit this page to see the first set of tutorial cubes.

Practice Cube 1
This is the tutorial for the first practice cube that comes after the 5 tutorial cubes. You’ll no longer have the the progress bar to give you feedback while you work, but you will get feedback once you’ve finished.Remember to make sure your neuron fully disappears off the side of the cube, instead of just touching it. Sometimes a neuron will travel along the cube wall for a ways, and if you stop looking once it’s hit the edge you may miss something.

Practice Cube 2
This is the video for the second of the practice cubes that come after the tutorial cubes.  Learn how to tell if something is correct by checking in the 3D.

Practice Cube 3
This is the video for the third of the practice cubes that come after the tutorial cubes. Learn what to do when the Artificial Intelligence (AI) makes a mistake and colors something outside the line.

Practice Cube 4
This video is for the 4th practice cube after the tutorial tasks. Learn what to do when the Artificial Intelligence (AI) makes a mistake and colors something outside the line.
